a provincias chinas). Está dividido en tres provincias:
U-Tsang, Amdo y Kham. Sus límites son Sinkiang-Uighur (N),
las provincias Tsinghai (NE), Szechwan (E), Yunnan (SE), y la
India (O y SE), Buthan y Nepal (S).

U-Tsang, Amdo and Kham. Its boundaries are Sinkiang - Uighur (N),
the provinces Tsinghai (NE), Szechwan (E), Yunnan (SE), and India

Tibet is constituted by a gigantic plateau of 3,500 to 4,500 metres,
located between the Kuenlun (to N) and Himalaya (S) and crossed
by the orographic system of Thanglha that separates the Northern
region, mountainous and semi-arid (Sinkiang), from the great plain
formed the S, in India, by the valleys of the Ganges and the Brahmaputra.
Its mountains sometimes surpass 6000 to 7000 metres, as Chomo
Langma (Mount Everest), with 8.848 m in the tibetan-nepalí

On the plateau of Tibet there are the most important rivers of

Western Tibet. In the North there are the sources of the Mekong,
Yang Tse Kiang and Huang-Ho, whose mythology fills the story of
